Builders Compete for Fraserview Lots

Over the last two months I have negotiated the purchase of two residential building lots in the Fraserview neighbourhood of Vancouver. Each of these properties was an old house on an over-sized lot. In both cases, my clients wanted to knock the house over and build a new home. The clients were different for each purchase.

What I found interesting about these deals was that both properties had at least 5 competing offers from other builders. In contrast, the builders weren’t as active purchasing properties in other areas of Vancouver this summer. Fraserview has become popular with the builders.
